Humans vs Zombies is a moderated, campus-wide game of tag where humans try to survive, zombies try to spread the infection, and every mission creates a story players keep talking about after the week ends.
What is Humans vs Zombies?
A social game disguised as an outbreak.
HVZ is large-scale tag with a post-apocalyptic premise. Most players start as humans. A small group begins as zombies. When a zombie tags a human, that player joins the horde. Humans survive by moving smart, completing missions, coordinating with teammates, and using approved stun tools such as foam blasters or socks, depending on local rules.
The format works because it gives students a reason to meet people, learn campus, organize squads, solve objectives, and participate in a shared story. Good organizations also make safety and clarity non-negotiable: defined play zones, safe zones, player IDs, moderator rulings, equipment rules, and clear conduct expectations.
How a game usually unfolds
